OUR STORY

Plonk! Bistro and Wine Cellar approaches wine and food with an adventurous and welcoming spirit. A neighborhood favorite for discovering something new. Our wine cellar features everything from Old World wines to eclectic finds from the American Northwest. Our menu uses seasonal ingredients and delivers wine-friendly flavors. From cheese and charcuterie boards to stone oven pizzas and steaks, the Plonk!’s chef-driven kitchen prepares dishes designed to pair with wines from our temperature-controlled wine cellar. Our patio in the backyard of Garden Oaks/Oak Forest invites neighbors to stay awhile. Our free wine tastings, brunch events, and chef created wine dinners celebrate wine, food, and friends. And there’s no place we’d rather enjoy wine and live music than on the Plonk! patio! A neighborhood wine and dining destination for nearly fifteen years, Plonk! Bistro is a proud Garden Oaks/Oak Forest wine bar and bistro with fans both near and far. A stellar wine cellar and curated wine list form the heart of Plonk! Bistro and Wine Cellar, and the Plonk! kitchen’s culinary offerings enhance the wine bar experience with everything from small plates to creative, seasonal dinner offerings. Popular wine-friendly dishes range from lamb chops and handmade pasta to stone oven pizzas and light bites. Ten craft beers on tap and a selection of bottled brews rounds out the offerings, so there’s sure to be something for everyone, beer and wine drinkers alike.
